Every owner of Hayabusa wants their bikes free of some troubles. One of important thing you should do is air cleaner maintenance. Maintenance of Hayabusa air cleaner should be done once every 6000 km or every 6 months. Replacement of Hayabusa air cleaner should be done if your bike reaches 18000 km or about 18 months.
Look the dust in the air cleaner. You need to clean the air cleaner from the dust. Blow the dust by using an air hose. Be aware not to use air pressure on the inside of the air element because it will force the dirt into the open pores of the air cleaner which will disturb the natural flow of the air in the air cleaner. If you are unable to clean the dust from the air cleaner it is better to replace with the new one then reinstall the old one because it will disturb the performance of your Hayabusa.
Before you can do above, you should dismantle the air cleaner from the bike first. If you do not know, here I will tell you the way. First, you need to dismantle the front and rear seat. Then you need to remove the fuel tank and its support. Now you can see the air cleaner clearly. Dismantle the air cleaner by releasing the screw.
If your environment is dusty, cleaning of air cleaner is very important. Do the maintenance of air cleaner periodically to make sure your engine is long life.
